Who we are

Who are we? Well, there’s a question. We’re readers and writers. We’re thinkers and doers. We’re journalists, branding experts and digital marketers. We’re local builders and international traders. We’re charities and NGOs. We’re brewers, bakers and artisan candle makers. We’re doctors, lawyers and government departments. We’re multinational brands and we’re local start-ups. We’re all these things and yet we’re none of them. Because basically, we’re chameleons. Basically, we’re you and whatever your business needs us to be.

But who are we really? Beneath the words, we’re qualified journalists and trained proofreaders with nearly two decades of experience. We’ve worked around the UK in various fields, from the fast-paced buzz of a daily newspaper to the award-winning Creative department of Specsavers. We’ve plied our trades across multiple platforms, from quarterly magazines to Facebook, and we love every second of what we do.

As Comma Chameleon, we’re both proud and excited to be based in Manchester, where the cultural vibrancy feeds our souls and the spirit of down-to-earth camaraderie fuels everything we do. We love live music and local craft beers, kayaking on the Bridgewater Canal and hiking the countryside that surrounds this wonderfully gritty city. And on rainy Sunday afternoons, you’ll often find us taking in a film at the local indie cinema or having a game of Battleship in the nearby taproom.

We love most things local and independent, so we try to support other small businesses and start-ups in whatever way we can, be it through discounts on our services or a bit of friendly advice.
